DPR embraces a holistic approach to performing arts education, tailoring our curriculum to continuously enhance and upskill our students in various styles. Beyond imparting artistic proficiency, we prioritize equipping students with valuable life skills that extend beyond their time with us.

Distinguishing ourselves further, we take pride in our commitment to providing abundant performance opportunities—surpassing typical studio standards. Our qualified teaching staff undergo regular professional development to refine their instructional techniques, ensuring that our programs are not only age-appropriate but also aligned with the specific needs of students at different stages of their schooling.

At DPR, we are dedicated to creating a supportive environment for everyone, irrespective of age, gender, skill level, or ability. Our focus on care, nurturing, and encouragement provides students with a safe space to express themselves authentically while building confidence that extends beyond the stage.

For trial classes, we encourage participants to wear comfortable and easy-to-move-in attire, such as leggings, shorts, T-shirts, singlets, and either bare feet or running shoes. A reminder email or text will be sent before the scheduled trial class as a helpful prompt.

Upon enrollment at DPR, your child will be fitted for and provided with a DPR uniform. Our uniforms are thoughtfully designed to be age-appropriate, ensuring that students can optimize their movement and comfort during classes. Additionally, dance shoes are mandatory and can be conveniently purchased from any dance shop (DanceMore Dancewear in South Morang is our closest!).

Our programs align with government holidays, meaning there are no scheduled classes on public or school holidays, except for our specialised holiday program. This exception provides an opportunity for students to engage in enriching activities during holiday periods.

Certainly! DPR hosts two annual dance events, including a mid-year RAW mini Recital and an end-of-year (EOY) Showcase. As a performance-based studio, we prioritize offering confidence-building opportunities through these shows, and they are often regarded as the highlight of the year for many of our students.

In addition to our major recitals, we extend further performance opportunities for our older students throughout the year as a special bonus. Furthermore, we actively encourage and provide avenues for students to showcase their talents in various community events such as school fetes and community fairs. At DPR, we believe in fostering a well-rounded dance experience that extends beyond the studio, allowing our students to shine in a variety of performance settings.
